Habtamu Wondimu is Professor of Social Psychology and former Director of College of Education and Behavioural Studies at AAU. His major publications include: ‘Handbook of Peace and Human Rights Education in Ethiopia’ and ‘Family Violence in Addis Ababa: Challenges of reconciling culture and human rights in Ethiopia,’ among others. He has won the OSSREA’s Sabbatical Research Grant (2005), Fulbright’s New Century Scholar’s Grant (2007/08), and the ‘‘Who Is Who among Students in American Universities and Colleges’’ Award (1972-1973). He has published extensively.
