The festival pays special tribute to the father of Ethio-jazz, the legendary Mulatu Astatke, honoring his pioneering spirit and lasting legacy in global music history.

In a moving tribute to the legendary drummer and composer Teferi Assefa, the festival will dedicate a section of the event to his life and legacy.
