Tekeste Negash is Associate Professor of History at Uppsala University. He served as Senior lecturer and was one of the founders of the Master’s Programme of African Studies at Dalarna University. His main research project focuses on Politics and History. He has been studying democracy in Africa; nation-building; European aid and the critical role of NGOs, and development studies. He has published extensively.
