Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed between Ethiopian Academy of Sciences (EAS) and Research and Development Center in Ethiopia (RDCE) at China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) to collaborate on Capacity Building, Technology Transfer, Research and Development.
The signing ceremony took place on March 14, 2024 with the presence of Wang Weidong General Secretary Registered Civil Engineer (Geotechnical) Senior Engineer Technology Support Department of the CCCC and Prof. Teketel Yohannes, the Executive Director of the EAS.
RDCE and EAS have identified areas of collaboration that are very crucial to the achievement of their shared mission. The area of collaboration includes joint research, knowledge and technology transfer, consultancy services, short and long-term training programs, collaborative academic programs, and staff externships.
Through this partnership, both parties have agreed to engage and collaborate in efforts to enhance corporate organizational capabilities through sharing experiences, providing practical training, and offering technical support. Furthermore, they are dedicated to advancing science and technology in Ethiopia.
