የኢትዮጵያ ሳይንስ አካዳሚ እና ፀሐይ አሳታሚ ድርጅት ስምምነት

የኢትዮጵያ ሳይንስ አካዳሚ እና ፀሐይ አሳታሚ ድርጅት ሳይንሳዊ እውቀትን በጋራ ለመፍጠር፣ ለማሰራጨት እና ለማስተዋወቅ የሚያስችል አጋርነትን የሚፈጥር የመግባቢያ ሰነድ ስምምነት ተፈራረሙ።

የመግባቢያ ስምምነቱን የኢትዮጵያ ሳይንስ አካዳሚ ፕሬዝዳንት ፕሮፌሰር ጽጌ ገብረማርያም እና የፀሐይ አሳታሚ ድርጅት ባለቤት እና ዋና ሥራ አስፈጻሚ አቶ ኤልያስ ወንድሙ ተፈራርመዋል።

የአካዳሚው ፕሬዝዳንት ፕሮፌሰር ጽጌ ገብረማርያም በፊርማ ሥነ ሥርዓቱ ላይ ባደረጉት ንግግር ስምምነቱ የምርምር፣ የሳይንስና ቴክኖሎጂ እውቀትን ውጤታማ በሆነ መንገድ ለማስተዋወቅ፣ ተቋማዊ ጥረቶችን ማጣመር፣ ማስተባበርና ሀብቶችን መጋራት ለሁለቱም ተቋማት ግቦች ስኬት ወሳኝ መሆኑን ገልጸዋል።

በኢትዮጵያ ያሉ በርካታ የሀገር በቀል ዕውቀቶች፣ የባህልና  የሥልጣኔ መገለጫዎች በምሁራን ተጽፈው በተለያዩ ቋንቋዎች ታትመው በመላው ዓለም ለንባብ እንዲበቁ ለማድረግ ተቀናጅቶ መሥራት እንደሚያስፈልግም አመላክተዋል፡፡ ለዚህ ደግሞ ሁለቱ ተቋማት ያደረጉት ስምምነት  አንግበው የተነሱትን ተቋማዊ ዓላማ  ለማሳካት የሚያስችል መሆኑን ተናግረዋል።

አካዳሚው ሁሉንም የሳይንስ ዘርፎችን ያቀፈና አባላቱም በተለያዩ የትምህርት ዓይነቶች የላቀ የምርምር  አገልግሎት ውጤት በማስመዝገባቸው የተመረጡ ከፍተኛ ባለሙያዎች ስብስብ ሲሆን ፀሓይ አሳታሚ  ድርጅት ደግሞ ዕዉቀትን የማምረት፣ የመመዝገብና የማሰራጨት የዳበረ ልምድ ስላለው ይህንን አቀናጅቶ መሥራት  ወሳኝ መሆኑን ፕሮፌሰር ጽጌ አብራርተዋል።

የፀሐይ አሳታሚ ድርጅት ባለቤት አቶ ኤልያስ ወንድሙ፤ ድርጅታቸው ከአካዳሚው ጋር ስምምነት ማድረጉ በሀገር ውስጥና በውጭ ሀገር የሚኖሩ  ምሁራንን በሳይንስና ቴክኖሎጂ ዕውቀት ሽግግር ላይ ለማሳተፍ ድልድይ ሆኖ ያገለግላል ብለዋል።

የነገዋን ኢትዮጵያ ለሚቀጥለው ትውልድ ለማቆየት በጋራ የተሻለ ሥራ መሥራት አስፈላጊ ስለመሆኑም አብራርተዋል።

በተለያዩ ሕትመቶች ላይ የሚስተዋለውን የጥራት ችግር ለማስተካከል፣ በጋራ መጻሕፍትን ለማዘጋጀት እና በአርትዖት ሥራም ለመተጋገዝ፣ እንዲሁም ሌሎች ተግባራትን በጋራ ለማከናወንም ስምምነቱ አስፈላጊ ነው ብለዋል።

በስምምነቱ ሁለቱም ተቋማት፣ የመጽሐፍ ፕሮጀክቶችን ማቀድ እና መፈጸም፣ መጽሐፎችን እና ሌሎች ሕትመቶችን በጋራ ማሳተም እና  ማሰራጨት፣ ሀገር አቀፍ እና ዓለም አቀፍ የመጻሕፍት ዓውደ ርዕዮችን ማዘጋጀት፣ በአካዳሚያዊ የማሳተም ዘርፍ እና በተዛማጅ ዘርፎች የስልጠና እድሎችን የማመቻቸት ተግባራት በጋራ ሊያከናውኑ እንደሚችሉ በመግባቢያ ሰነዱ ተጠቅሷል።

MoU signed between the EAS & Tsehai Publisher

The Ethiopian Academy of Sciences and Tsehai Publishers have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate in the creation, dissemination and promotion of scientific knowledge.

The MOU was signed by Prof. Tsige Gebre-Mariam, President of the Ethiopian Academy of Sciences, and Elias Wondimu, Publisher and CEO of Tsehai Publishers.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Prof. Tsige G. Mariam said the agreement is critical to the success of the two institutions’ efforts to effectively promote research, science and technology, combine institutional efforts and share resources.

He said it is necessary to work together to ensure that many profiles of indigenous knowledge, culture and civilization in Ethiopia are written by scholars and published in different languages so that can be read throughout the world.

He added that the agreement signed between the two institutions will enable them to achieve their institutional goals.

Elias Wondimu, publisher and CEO of Tsehai Publishers, said that the MOU will serve as a bridge to bring together local and foreign scientists for the transfer of scientific knowledge and technology.

Mr. Elias also noted that the MOU is important to address the quality issues in various publications, publish books and carry out other activities jointly.

The activities stated in the signed MoU include planning and implementing book projects, jointly publishing and distributing books and other publications, organizing national and international book fairs, author talks, lectures, etc., and sharing resources and experiences, etc. As stated, the MoU is valid for the next five years.
