Yeweyenhareg Feleke is Professor of Medicine at the College of Health Sciences, Addis Ababa University. She is a Consultant Internist and Endocrinologist, and the First Female Professor in Health Sciences in Ethiopia. She has published extensively and has authored a book on diabetes mellitus. She is former President of the Ethiopian Medical Association for four years and she is one of the “Temesalet, Ethiopian Phenomenon Women.”
