Taye Assefa is a literary scholar who has served as Director of Research and Publications at the Forum for Social Studies. He was also Head of the Communication and Services Department at the Association of African Universities and of the Publications and Documentation Officer at the Organization for Social Science Research in Eastern and Southern Africa (OSSREA). Before joining these organizations, Dr. Taye had been a regular academic staff of Addis Ababa University, where he is still teaching in the graduate program on a part-time basis. He has published extensively on Ethiopian literature and edited several research outputs.
