The Ethiopian Academy of Sciences was visited by the Director of The French Center for Ethiopian Studies (CFEE), Mr. Jean Nicolas Bach, who leads a team composed of researchers, associate researchers, technical staff and PhD candidate working in Ethiopia in several areas.
Professor Teketel Yohannes, extended a warm welcome to the team and provided short overview of the Academy. The CFEE is a French Research Institute Abroad (IFRE) of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE) as well as the National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS/INSHS) of France. Mr. Jean-Nicolas Bach was accompanied by Prof. Shiferaw Bekele, a founding member of EAS and former Executive Director of the EAS Prof. Masresha Fetene. The team discussed with EAS on common interests and possible collaboration and partnership.
