Dr Zewdie Bishaw is a seed systems specialist and serves as Principal Scientist and Research Team Leader for Seed Systems, International Nurseries and Seed Health (SINH) at ICARDA. Zewdie has extensive managerial and research experience in the development of the agricultural and seed sectors across Africa and Asia. Dr Bishaw has led numerous bilateral and multilateral projects that have significantly improved the livelihoods of millions of farmers. He, collaborates with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including government policymakers, leaders of national agricultural research systems, seed program managers, public and private seed companies, farmers’ organizations, NGOs, and international development donors.
