An accomplished agricultural economist t with over 30 years of international experience across Africa and global organizations. He served as CIMMYT Southern Africa Regional Representative, Professor of Agricultural Economics, University of Limpopo. At the Ethiopian Institute Agricultural Research, he designed and facilitated Farming Systems Research methodologies. As Lead consultant, he has led initiatives in sustainable and regenerative agriculture, natural capital accounting, and formulation of Ethiopian National Seed Strategy & Investment Plan. Renowned for strategic leadership, capacity building, and partnership development, he has authored over 40 publications, contributed to policy frameworks, and served on advisory boards and professional agricultural societies. He has a PhD in Agricultural Economics at Michigan State University
