Solomon Hailemariam works as Resource Person for the Control of Livestock Diseases at the African Union. He served as the Director of The Ethiopian Veterinary Services and as Pan Africa Coordinator for the Eradication of Rinderpest. He is the recipient of gold medal from the Deputy Prime Minister of Ethiopia and the FAO Director General. He has published extensively.
