Dawit Alemu is an Agricultural Economist and is currently serving as Manager of the Bilateral Ethiopia-Netherlands Effort for Food, Income and Trade (BENEFIT) Program. Previously, he has been serving as Senior Researcher and Director of the Agricultural Economics, Extension and Gender Research Program of EIAR, as Project Manager of FRG and EthioRice Projects supported by JICA, and as senior research officer at the Ethiopia Strategy Support Program of IFPRI.
