Dr. Abraham Assefa, an EAS Fellow, is Honored the Prestigious African Union Kwame Nkrumah Continental Award of the 2020 Edition
Dr. Abraham Assefa, Fellow of the Ethiopian Academy of Sciences and former Director of the Armauer Hansen Research Institute (AHRI) has been awarded with the prestigious African Union Kwame Nkrumah Continental Award for the Scientific Excellence for Life and Earth Sciences Category of the 2020 Edition.
The African Union Kwame Nkrumah Continental Award for Scientific Excellence (AUKNASE) is a three level award: national, regional and continental, to recognize African men and women in science who have distinguished themselves through their contribution to research and training for the continent’s development.
The Ethiopian Academy of Sciences (EAS) congratulates Dr. Abraham Assefa for this outstanding achievement.
