Adane Abraham is Associate Professor of Biotechnology at Addis Ababa Science and Technology University. He was senior researcher at the National Agricultural Biotechnology Laboratory of the Ethiopian Institute of Agricultural Research. Currently, he serves as the Secretary for the Institutional Biosafety Committee for work on GMOs. He served as leader of the National Plant Biotechnology and Crop Protection Case Team; as Head of Plant Pathology Department at the Ambo Plant Protection Research Center; and as leader of the National Plant Biotechnology and Crop Protection Case Team.
