The Ethiopian Academy of Sciences (EAS) is pleased to present The State of Air Quality in Ethiopia, a report reviewing available evidence and data on air pollution in Ethiopia and assessing the current state of air quality.
Led by Prof. Solomon Bililign, EAS Associate Fellow, the report brings together the expertise of scientists from Ethiopia and the United States and provides recommendations for researchers, policymakers, regulators, government institutions and the public.
EAS hopes that this publication will contribute to greater awareness, informed policy and collaborative action toward improving air quality and protecting public health and the environment in Ethiopia.
