Professor Teketel Yohannes, Executive Director of the Ethiopian Academy of Sciences (EAS), spoke in a panel discussion at the “China-Africa Innovation Cooperation Day” seminar on Friday, September 26, 2025. The event, held at the African Union headquarters, was a collaborative effort by the African Union Commission and China’s Ministry of Science and Technology, aimed at establishing a strong science and technology cooperation network.
Professor Teketel presented a speech on the topic of “China-Ethiopia Science and Technology Cooperation for Sustainable Development.” The forum served as a platform for various discussions and was attended by a wide range of officials, experts, and academicians, underscoring the growing importance of science and technology in the China-Africa partnership.
