I am working as a full professor in the Department of Natural Resources Management, at the University of Gondar. Previously I have worked as Vice – President for Research and Community Services at Debark University of Ethiopia from 2018 to 2023, and an Associate Dean of the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences at Haramaya University of Ethiopia. I got my PhD degree from the Resource Ecology Group of Wageningen University of the Netherlands in 2011 in Production Ecology and Resource Conservation (PERC) under the Environmental Sciences Program. In addition, I obtained my full professorship as “Professor of Rangeland Ecology and Biodiversity at Haramaya University in January 2018.
