Bereket Kebede is a professor in Behavioural Development Economics based at the School of Global Development, University of East Anglia, UK. He did his undergraduate studies at Economics Department, Addis Ababa University followed by masters and DPhil/PhD at Oxford University. After his undergraduate studies he worked at Addis Ababa University and following the completion of his DPhil studies at Bath University and the University of East Anglia, both in the UK. His earlier empirical research mainly uses econometric analysis of panel household data. That was followed by research on the interface between development economics and experimental and behavioural economics.
