Abebaw Yirga Adamu is a professor of higher education and the Director of Quality Assurance and Risk Management at Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. He previously held the position of Director at the Ethiopian Institute for Higher Education at Addis Ababa University, and serves on the Education Sector Professional Advisory Council for Ethiopia’s Ministry of Education. He is an alumnus of the Harvard Kennedy School. His research focuses on higher education, including policy, diversity, quality, internationalization, harmonization, & leadership. He holds a PhD in Education and Society from the University of Tampere, a European Master’s in Lifelong Learning Policy and Management from the University of Aarhus and the University of Deusto, and an MEd in Multicultural and Multilingual Education from Addis Ababa University.
