Professor of Dermatovenerology, at Bahir Dar University and Arba Minch University Ethiopia with 20 years of experience in global health dermatology. I am a medical doctor by training, with master in public health and a Ph.D. in Global Health and Dermatology, my career encompasses a wide range of clinical, academic, research and administrative responsibilities.
I am actively engaged in various areas, including outbreak management, community-based research, operational research, and clinical trials. My contributions extend to international platforms, where I serve as a member of the WHO Strategic and Technical Advisory Group for Neglected Tropical Diseases. I also holds positions as the vice-chair of the International Alliance for Global Health Dermatology (GLODERM)
