Prof. Kristoffer Hylander

Prof. Kristoffer Hylander defended his PhD-thesis in 2004 entitled: “Living on the edge: effectiveness of buffer strips in protecting biodiversity along small boreal streams”.
Since then he has worked with patterns and processes of biodiversity in boreal forests as well as tropical agroforests. More specifically, Kristoffer has worked extensively in SW Ethiopia on biodiversity in forests, coffee agroforests and homegardens. He has studied plants, bryophytes, birds, insects as well as fungal diseases.
