Gebreyesus Brhane Tesfahunegn obtained PhD degree in Soil and Water Management from Bonn University, Germany. He had 6 years (2000-2007) work experience in Tigray Agricultural Research Institute (Ethiopia). He has been serving at Aksum University since 2007. He served at several Research and Academic positions.
Internationally, he was awarded Research Fellow at UN- INRA, Consultant in CABI, Visiting Scientist in Nebraska University and VHL University of Applied Sciences. His work has been published in various esteemed journals. He also contributed books and book chapters and proceedings. He has advised several master and PhD students and opened master and PhD programs.
