Workineh Kelbessa is Professor of Philosophy at AAU. He is a former Fellow of Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, and a member of UNESCO’s world commission on the Ethics of Scientific Knowledge and Technology, and the International Panel on Social Progress. He is also a member of several other international professional associations. He has served on the advisory boards of the Journals Environmental Ethics and Health Care Philosophy and Policy. He has published extensively.
