Shifferaw Taye is Associate Professor of Engineering Mechanics and Structural Engineering at AAU. He served as Director of Engineering Mechanics and Structural Engineering at AAU. He served the Ministry of Works and Urban Development on the drafting of two Building Code Standards and as member of the Construction sub-Sector Committee of the Ethiopian Science & Technology Commission. He is one of the founders of an ISO 900:2008 certified Structural Engineering Consulting Firm.
