Belay Woldeyes is Professor of Chemical Engineering at AAU. He is the co-founder and the first Ethiopian head of the Department of Chemical Engineering, AAU. He has published in international and national journals and has presented papers at international conferences. He has authored teaching materials on chemical kinetics and chemical reactor for chemical engineering and related disciplines.
