Mitike Molla is Associate Professor of Public Health at the School of Public Health (SPH), College of Health Sciences (CHS), Addis Ababa University. She has a PhD in Public Health from the Centre for International Health, University of Bergen, Norway. She was the Dean of the School of Public Health and a founding member and chair of the Women’s Health Research Working Group. Before joining the University, she served the MoH as a nurse, hospital administrator and Planning and Programming Service Head at Addis Ababa Regional Health Bureau. She was awarded two NIH grants in collaboration with colleagues and two rounds of thematic research grants from AAU. She is member of the Editorial Board of the Ethiopian Journal of Health Development and an Associate Editor of the Ethiopian Journal of Reproductive Health. Mitike has published extensively on the continuum of maternal, new-born, child and adolescent health
